We begin the week with the Sun at 3° Sagittarius and on Tuesday November 26 (7:05am PST), the Moon and Sun conjunct, which results in a New Moon at 4° 3’ Sagittarius.
The New Moon is very much the energetic theme for this week, as is Neptune going direct, which occurs within 48 hours of the New Moon (Thursday November 28).
This New Moon in Sagittarius is particularly potent, Sagittarius of course being the sign of forward expansion, adventure (travel), higher education and spirituality.
What makes it particularly special is that we have Jupiter navigating the final degrees of Sagittarius (currently at 28° Sagittarius) conjunct Venus at 0° Capricorn.
Jupiter is the cosmic amplifying magnifying glass, wherever he is, there is tremendous expansion and revealing. If you think back to the ‘Me Too’ movement, that was amplified by Jupiter in Scorpio at the time.
Jupiter has been moving throughout Sagittarius for the past year (specifically November 8, 2018) and many have experienced a calling, a near tugging at the marrow of their bones, towards exploring their own personal growth for the Highest Good of All.
We will not have a New Moon with Jupiter in Sagittarius again until 2030. Embrace this amazing beneficial and expansive energy! What house is 4° Sagittarius in your natal chart? There are other aspects this week that support the exploration of personal expansion and graceful growth: Neptune (in a current trine with Saturn) goes direct, as well as the North Node in a trine between the North Node and Mercury and Mars.
As mentioned, on Thursday November 28 (4:32am PST) Neptune returns direct, having been retrograde since June’s Summer Solstice. Neptune is the planetary ruler of our Higher Self, ruler of Divine Love, inspiration, intuition and imagination rules expansion without limitation. Neptune moving onward continuing throughout the sign of Pisces is a beautiful complimentary offering to Jupiter’s navigation through the last degrees of Sagittarius and this New Moon.
This week… deliberately create the time for stillness, to reflect and to daydream with wild abandon. The timing is most serendipitous, as we wind this decade to a close, and consider Jupiter will not be returning to Sagittarius until 2030. Give yourself the power of the pause, perhaps curl up with a blanket, a cup of tea and soft candlelight, and let your imagination drift without the restrictions of responsibility, as to what you’d love for your life in the coming years.
